A-A4036A - Redback 40W 4 Input 100V Public Address Amplifier
Designed to meet the requirements of medium sized professional public address installations. The A-A4036A delivers an output power of 40W. Frequency response extends from 60 Hz to 15 kHz at a total harmonic distortion (THD) of less than 0.5. Features include, VOX muting, four balanced XLR microphone inputs, four line RCA inputs, bass and treble controls, enabling a diversity of installation applications, including schools, public halls, workshops and sporting complexes. Inbuilt VOX muting allows input 1 (mic or line) to mute inputs 2-4 and input 2 (mic or line) to mute inputs 3-4. Powered from 240 volt ac mains or 24 volt dc permitting battery backup operation during mains power failure. Output is 100 volt line or low impedance (4 - 16Ω) speaker loads. All units feature thermal overload shutdown to protect the amplifier if a speaker fault condition develops. Master volume can be controlled remotely via figure 8 cable and the A-A2280B wall control unit or 1KΩ potentiometer (part no. A-R2202).
A-A4573 Alert/Evac option board: Generates pre chime, bell, alert and evacuation tones. The alert tone can function continuously, or switch to Evac tone after a pre-set time delay (adjustable 30 seconds to 4.5 minutes). Simply connects to the amplifier internally via the cable provided.
A-A2280B Remote volume wall plate: Connects via figure 8 cable to the “remote volume” terminals of the amplifier. Enabling overall volume to be adjusted as required. Features a PCB jumper to reverse the volume control direction. Maximum cable length 100m.
